Park Medi World to acquire Medicity Hospital in Rudrapur, enter Uttarakhand

New Delhi: Hospital chain Park Medi World Ltd on Monday stated it would acquire 100 per cent of the excellent shareholding of The Medicity Hospital, Rudrapur, in an all-cash transaction valued at Rs 177 crore.

The acquisition marks Park Group’s entry into Uttarakhand, increasing its presence right into a sixth state.

The Medicity Hospital, Rudrapur, is multi-super speciality healthcare establishment with a 330-bed capability.

“This acquisition is in line with the corporate’s progress technique, which seeks to maximise operational synergies and obtain economies of scale by strategic deployment of belongings in high-potential, underserved markets,” Park Medi World acknowledged.
