Mysore/Mysuru: The three-day mango and jackfruit mela, organised by the Division of Horticulture started in Kuppanna Park at Nazarbad in metropolis this morning. Farmers from Mysuru, Mandya and Ramanagara districts are collaborating within the mela to be held until Could 17.
Over 15 varieties of mangoes together with Badami, Raspuri, Mallika, Dasheri, Kesar, Sindoora, Gulab Khas, Rumani, Sakkare Gutti, Malgova, Lal Badshah, Sundari, Alphonso, Banganapalle, Kalapadi and Ratnagiri Alphonso amongst different varieties are being stored for show and sale.
