The BJP on Sunday (June 7, 2026) introduced its candidates for the upcoming Rajya Sabha polls, fielding M. Nagaraja from Karnataka and Mahesh Kewat from Madhya Pradesh.
The social gathering additionally named Lingaraj Patil and Raghu Kautilya as its candidates for Karnataka Legislative Council elections.
The BJP’s central election committee has accredited the names of those candidates, social gathering nationwide common secretary Arun Singh stated in a notification.
The Rajya Sabha polls for 24 seats in 10 States, together with Arunachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Manipur and Karnataka, shall be held on June 18.
Election to the Karnataka Legislative Council can be attributable to be held on June 18.
