A 70-year-old Malad resident has alleged that docs and workers at Mumbai’s Brihanmumbai Municipal Company-run MW Desai Municipal Basic Hospital refused to admit his son who was injured after a fall, citing the absence of docs, tools and a useful operation theatre.
Talking to The Indian Categorical, Anil Yashwant Darekar stated his 33-year-old son, Yatin Darekar, had suffered fractures after falling from the third ground staircase of a constructing on Tuesday morning. The daddy stated he took his son to the Malad-based civic hospital round 10.30 am however had to shift him to a authorities hospital in Jogeshwari.
“They instructed me there have been no surgeons, no tools and that the OT was not useful. Then they made me signal papers saying I used to be unwilling to admit my son there. Why would I deliver my injured son to the hospital if I didn’t need admission,” the daddy stated.
He additional claimed that no medico-legal case (MLC) or emergency affected person registration was performed on the Malad hospital regardless of the character of the accidents. “I finally admitted him to Bal Thackeray Trauma Care Municipal Hospital in Jogeshwari, the place he’s at the moment present process treatment,” he stated.
