Mysuru Central Jail staffer arrested for making an attempt to provide tobacco to inmate
Mysore/Mysuru: In a traditional case of the “fence consuming the crop,” a Jail Warder entrusted with stopping contraband from getting into Mysuru Central Jail was himself caught smuggling banned objects into the jail.
The accused, recognized as H.R. Ramesh, a Jail Warder, was caught whereas making an attempt to hold tobacco merchandise contained in the jail premises in metropolis.

The contraband was instantly confiscated and the matter was reported to senior officers. Subsequently, Assistant Jail Superintendent M. Deepa lodged a proper criticism towards Ramesh at Mandi Police Station.
