Minister-designate Ramesh Chennithala, who was a robust contender for the Chief Minister’s put up, mentioned he had joined the V.D. Satheesan authorities on the occasion of the “Congress high-command, celebration staff, and my constituents in Haripad Meeting phase”.
Talking to reporters in Thiruvananthapuram, Mr. Chennithala mentioned he was in “two minds about taking on a Ministerial duty”.
When requested whether or not there was any tug-of-war between him and Mr. Satheesan over the House portfolio, Mr. Chennithala mentioned: “I used to be a Minister within the Ok. Karunakaran authorities on the age of 28. Later, I used to be the House Minister within the Oommen Chandy Cupboard (2011-16). I’ve represented Haripad for the previous 30 years, and every Meeting election, my successful margin has elevated considerably. Given my political and administrative expertise, Mr. Satheesan requested me to take any portfolio I appreciated”, he added.
When requested whether or not he felt down that his loyalists, Anward Sadat and T.J. Vinod, each designated MLAs, weren’t accommodated within the Cupboard, Mr. Chennithala mentioned: “Many deserving leaders remained outdoors the federal government”.
He famous that Congress had solely 11 Ministers within the 21-member cupboard, and it was inconceivable to accommodate all those that deserved to be within the political government.
