Based on Superintendent of Police, Kiphire, an FIR was lodged on the Ladies Police Station on June 17 alleging that Heluikie Nsanglung alias Amos, an Armed Department Constable of DEF Kiphire, sexually assaulted and raped an elderly feminine resident of Excessive Faculty Ward.
Police registered a case below related provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and apprehended the accused on the identical day.
