POSH orientation held for district officials in Visakhapatnam

An orientation programme on the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Act, 2013, was performed on the Collectorate convention corridor in Visakhapatnam on Monday for district-level everlasting authorities officers. The programme was organised beneath the coordination of District Girls, Baby Welfare and Empowerment Officer Okay.V. Ramalakshmi.

The occasion aimed to strengthen consciousness of authorized provisions associated to the prevention, prohibition, and redressal of sexual harassment on the office, and to strengthen the roles and tasks of officers throughout authorities departments.

Hema Yadavalli, Senior Vice Chairperson, FICCI FLO, was the principal speaker. She elaborated on the important thing provisions of the Act, prevention measures, grievance redressal mechanisms, and employer obligations, and careworn that each worker has an obligation to foster mutual respect, equality, and a protected working atmosphere.
