Sabarimala Sree Ayyappa Pooja Samithi, foot of Chamundi Hill, Mysuru, is organising ‘Sahasra Kalasha Puja’ from June 12 to 19.
On this event, Dravya Kalasha Puja, together with Sahasra Kalasha Puja, Homa, Abhisheka, Alankara, Bhagavathy Seva, Rice Filling with Kolaga and different sacred worships are being carried out by Sri Guruvayur Thanthri Brahmasri Dr. Chennas Dinesan Namboodiripad and his staff. These puja rituals might be carried out by a complete of 25 individuals together with the principle Thanthri, Co-Thanthris, Parikarmis and Manthra Chanters. ‘Sahasra Kalasha Puja’ is a vital purification ritual carried out in Hindu temples.
