Two automobiles that had been seized by the police and parked on a footpath exterior the residence of a rowdy-sheeter in Malleswaram have been set ablaze by unidentified individuals late on Wednesday evening.
The police have launched a probe to determine the miscreants. In keeping with the grievance filed by head constable Mahantesh Matad of the Malleswaram Police Station, the incident occurred near Metro Pillars 167 and 168 on R.P. Highway in M.D. Block on June 4 round 11.40 p.m.

The loss is estimated over ₹3 lakh. The police suspect the automobiles have been intentionally set on fireplace by unidentified individuals. A case has been registered underneath Sections 324(3) and 326(f) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
