Nanjangud: A lady was killed whereas her husband sustained severe accidents when a tipper car rammed into the bike they have been using close to Devaraj Urs Bridge within the city.
The deceased has been recognized as Manjula (55), an Anganwadi trainer at Ayarahalli village in Mysuru taluk whereas the injured is A.J. Mahadevappa, a local of Alathur within the taluk and resident of J.P. Nagar in Mysuru.
The couple was continuing on the bike from Alathur village and once they neared Devaraj Urs Bridge, the tipper rammed into the bike from behind ensuing within the couple falling from the bike and coming below the wheels of the tipper car, sustaining severe accidents.
Whereas Manjula breathed her final whereas being shifted to a hospital, Mahadevappa is present process remedy.
Nanjangud Visitors Police, who visited the accident spot, have seized the tipper car in addition to registering a case.
