A few Toronto Blue Jays may very well be on their solution to Philadelphia for All-Star Week.
Guerrero Jr. has 603,014 votes, with runner-up Ben Rice of the New York Yankees shut behind at 509,830. Clement has 904,702 votes, over 600,000 greater than second-place Ezequiel Duran of the Texas Rangers.
The Blue Jays first baseman has had a gradual begin to the season, batting .280 with three dwelling runs and a .738 OPS. He is in search of his sixth straight all-star nod.
Clement, however, is in line for his first look on the mid-summer traditional. The 30-year-old is batting .304 with seven dwelling runs and a .784 OPS and an AL-leading 20 doubles.
Just a few different Blue Jays are in line to be voted into the all-star sport, as catcher Alejandro Kirk, third baseman Kazuma Okamoto, shortstop Andres Gimenez and designated hitter George Springer all sit second in vote-getting for his or her respective positions.
Designated hitter Yordan Alvarez of the Houston Astros is the main vote-getter in the AL with 1,015,768 votes, whereas Los Angeles Dodgers DH Shohei Ohtani leads the NL with 1,165,133.
The MLB All-Star Sport will happen on July 14 at Residents Financial institution Park, the house of the Phillies.
